Location 8250 Greensboro Drive – drive to the surface parking lot just before the Green United Bank sign, take the parking ticket but leave it inside the car (15 minutes are free) scan ticket at the exit.
A typical day includes
8:30 am – 9:00 am arrival and shoot around
9:00 am – 9:10 Intros and plan for the day
9:10 am to 9:30 am – Tag game like Pac Man tag, tunnel tag, germs and doctors, hornet tag, sharks and minnos, man overboard and many others.
9:30 am to 9:40 am – Water Break and shoot around
9:45 am to 10:15 am – Skills and Drills which include learning multiple dribble moves, passing techniques, defensive strategy, screens, pick and roll, rebound and outlet drill, 3 on 2, 2 on 1, 3 man weave, 5 man weave, building on each drill from day to day.
10:15 to 10:30 am – Water Break and free shoot around
10:30 to 10: 45 am Snack time provided by Coach Brian- Either Popcorn, Cheese and Crackers, Pretzels, Goldfish, or Graham Crackers
10:45 am to 11:15 am – 3 on 3 and 5 on 5 games by age group.
11:15 am to 12:00 pm – Lunch. Bring a bag lunch or purchase lunch at 1 of 3 choices (Subway, The Boulevard, or Fresh Gourmet Café in the Club.
12:00 – Shoot around till 12:15 pm
12:15 pm to 1 pm – Floor Hockey (7 v 7) on the basketball court.
1 pm to 1:30 pm – Basketball Games 3 v 3 and 5 v 5
1:30 pm to 2 pm – Contest of the Day – Mikan Drill, Hot Shot competitions, X out lay up drill, Free Throw Competition, Basketball Knockout
2:00 to 2:15 pm – Free time
2:15 pm to 2:45 pm – Traditional Dodgeball
2:45 pm to 2:55 pm – Money Shot- Trivia questions are asked by the counselors and the kids who answer the questions correctly shoot from a designated spot on the court to win a 50 cent piece, dollar, 2 dollar bill or even 5 dollars from half court.
2:55 pm to 3 pm – Camper of the Day and wrap-up
3:00 pm to 5:00 – Optional Extended Day
